- I have chosen a more vibrant fitting colour to my music genre, than the one that I had previously chosen, the bright pink that I have selected also ties in with my front cover and double page spread, showing consistency throughout my coursework. This colour also contrasts with the bright blue that i have also chosen to highlight the key categories.
- I have also added a second model: Katy Alcock, and had small thumbnail size photographs in a film reel at the bottom of the contents page, placed it here as to not draw attention away from the main feature article but add further enticement for my target market.
- I have also added a new article to make the contents page look large; therefore making the target audience see there is more in the magazine than just a few select articles.

AS Coursework: Doublepage Spread
This is my music magazine double page spread with my improvement corrections added, some of the improvements that I have made include:
- I have improved the layout of the article, including a large pink, the same pink that i have used on both front cover and contents page, there fore my target audience will be able to allocate the start of the articles unlike on my previous attempt where it wasn’t as obvious where the article started.
- I have improved the picture quality, as this will add to the visual appeal of my magazine.
- I have changed the colour of the questions in the articles asked by 'Earcandy', to the same pink as the giant A, the masthead and articles on my front cover and articles on my contents page. This adds both consistency and contrast, by having the font contrasting its background it will stand out significantly more than the previous colour that I had used.
AS Coursework: Front Cover

This is my final front cover, after my improvement corrections have been added. Some of the things that I have changed from my first attempt at my music magazine front cover:
- The colour of my masthead, I have changed lilac colour which compliments the models eyes and matches their makeup and jewellery to a brighter more attractive colour: Pink. This colour is significantly more vibrant and eye catching than the one I had previously chosen.
- Added more articles than my previous attempt, this has made my front cover more conventional and gives my target market more of an insight to what’s featured in my magazine.
- The more important articles on my front cover have been allocated the bright pink font; this will allow my target audience to see which the most favourable articles are.
- The articles are framing my models image instead of making her the main feature like in my previouse attempt, complimenting my models facial structure and pose.
